Thillion's senses slowly began returning as she regained consciousness. She sensed something moving around her. She slowly opened her eyes, just enough to see her Succubi's tail flicking back and forth. Thillion's bag lay emptied out beside her, the Succubus sifting through the potions and herbs. A flash of anger pulsed through Thillion's body. But there was another feeling there...she was terrified. The succubus...had it summoned itself?
Suddenly, the succubus chuckled and turned to face Thillion. "You are...finally...awake...." Thillion opened her eyes slowly and glared at the demon kneeling before her. "What are you doing in my stuff?" Thillion demanded, as she slowly sat up. Her head wasn't pounding; a good sign. The succubus smirked, "I do have a name...I wassss jussst looking...at all...the pretty thingssssss you...possssesssss..."
Thillion stretched, feeling and listening to her body's responses. She knew that if she had to, at a moment's notice, she could be on her feet ready to fight. "Put my things away, Lynantia, do it now!" Thillion commanded. Her succubus glowered at her, but complied. Thillion let out the breath she had been holding in. As long as Lynantia still followed commands, she was sure all would be well. Lynantia slowly finished placing everything back in Thillion’s bag. Thillion stood, her knees a bit shaky but otherwise she felt much better than they had earlier.
Lynantia reached to hand Thillion the fully packed back. “Thank you, Lyn…” Thillion began to say, but was abruptly cut off as Lynantia shoved the bag hard into her face. As Thillion yelped in surprise, nearly toppling over, the demon grabbed Thillion’s wand. She dropped the bag and watched Lynantia in disbelief. “What is it you think you are doing, demon?” Thillion demanded.
She slowly took a step forward, but the Succubus backed up, the wand steadily trained on her master. “Don’t…think about moving…elf…” Lynantia hissed. Thillion held up her hands, “You don’t want to do this…Lynantia, give me back my wand.” Thillion snapped her fingers and her bag disappeared. She continued to move towards the Succubus.
Lynantia took one look at her master, turned quickly and was out of the Warlock’s Den before the stunned elf could blink. Cursing loudly, Thillion gave chase, her legs aching softly as she ran up the ramp and swung left as her Succubus jumped off the wall closest to the inn. Almost immediately the warlock knew her minion was going to try and leave the city. Thillion burst into the Inn, a stunned patron pointed at the other door.
“That way,” he slurred drunkenly. She ran out the door, wildly racking her brain for a shortcut that would get her to the gates quicker. “Lynantia!!” Thillion screamed as her succubus headed towards the front of the city. Foolishly, the demon hesitated, giving the blood elf a greater chance of catching her. Thillion leapt for the wand as Lynantia turned. She tackled her to the ground, but the succubus drove her cloven feet up into Thillion’s stomach.
Thillion cried out in shock and pain, but grabbed Lynantia’s left wing. “Stop!” she cried out as Lynantia got up. Thillion clung to the succubi’s waist, awed by the amount of strength she possessed, evident by the fact the Succubus dragged the elf along the streets almost effortlessly. Thillion held on as best she could as the Succubus ran out of the city. Lynantia stumbled while running down the stairs, causing her to tumbled, Thillion rolling along with her.
When they reached the bottom of the stairs, neither of them moved for a moment. Thillion drew a quick breath as she felt her minion flexing her bruised wings. The warlock lunged for the wand. Lynantia took that moment to scramble up and begin running again. Thillion cursed and was on her feet after the Succubus once more.
Thillion screamed loudly and tackled Lynantia once again. “Give me back my wand!!” Thillion yelled, oblivious to her surroundings.
“Thil…Thillion?”
The elf jerked her head up in shock. There stood Sieria; Thillion’s stomach clenched as she held onto the Succubus under her. “Sieria…I’m sorry to have bothered you”
“Wh…what are you doing?” Sieria demanded, obviously shocked by the sight in front of her.
“She…she’s got my wand!” Thillion grumbled indignantly.
The succubus looked up at Sieria, and realized almost immediately, the power that oozed off the confused elf, was deep, evil, corrupting power. Slowly, Lynantia’s lips curved into an evil smile. These two elves were just the beginning…They were the key to the Four…
